Brian Wood MC was awarded the Military Cross, one of Britain’s highest awards for gallantry in combat, by Her Majesty The Queen II, following his courageous leadership under enemy fire in Iraq.

 

On May 14, 2004, Sgt Wood, then a commander aged just 23, led his men into battle in "probably the most violent situation in contemporary warfare".

 

Host - Huey Morgan is an American musician best known as the frontman of rock/hip hop band Fun Lovin' Criminals, in this show. he conducts a fantastic interview with Brian and gets a rare insight into the events that took place at the Battle Of Danny Boy Iraq, May 2004.
