Many Scottish veterans requested that we organize an event in Scotland, so we are coming to the capital city of this great country on the 25th of November.

The Veterans against terrorism pressure group is passionate about keeping our great country safe and prosperous and handing our beloved United Kingdom onto our descendants in a far better way than we found it.

Veterans against terrorism is committed to totally peaceful, democratic action to bring about change in government policy relating to the current terror threat our nation faces. We are committed to the rule of law, individual liberty for all our people, especially in the areas of freedom of speech and freedom of religion including the right to criticize political dogma and challenge religious beliefs and practices.

We are non racist and will not tolerate any racist behavior or posts on our site and marches.

We are totally opposed to any violence against Muslims or incitement to violence against Muslims, attacks against any part of our community are totally wrong they must not happen.

We are non religious in the sense that we do not promote any religious dogma or belief system, our members religious affiliations are a personal matter for them that we deeply respect, we welcome veterans from all faith backgrounds and none.

We are not affiliated with any political party and do not identify with any political dogma or group whether it be left or right, that said we will use the political process in our country to make our voices heard and promote change.

We Veterans totally oppose fascist, racist and Neo-Nazi groups, anti-Semitic groups, groups that do not respect women’s rights and groups that threaten violence against people on the grounds of their religion, race, nationality and sexual orientation.

We also oppose the far-left Marxist and communist political subversives who want to turn our country into a totalitarian state.

Even though we realise the afore mentioned groups are a danger to our state the biggest threat to western civilisation comes from what Maajid Nawaz calls the “Global Jihadist insurgency.” There are three elements to this insurgency.

  • The Jihadists or Islamic terrorists

  • The Islamist or political Islam movement

  • Islamic supremacist groups

1. The Jihadists or Islamic terrorists

We oppose Islamic terrorism (Jihad) and Islamic supremacism in all its forms, we are deeply worried by the increasing number of attacks and call on the government to take all necessary means to deal with the threat including internment without trial and deportation of Jihadists, we also want to call for prosecution for incitement to commit murder any who legitimises terror attacks at home and abroad including attacks on Israel other non-Islamist states in the middle east. The security service tells us there are 23,000 potential jihadists in the UK with 3000 active players. The security services should be given the resources they need to neutralise the threat from the potential terrorists.

2. The Islamist or political Islam movement

Political Islam is a great danger to our nation, there are groups operating in the UK who wish to subvert our democracy and establish an Islamic state, this must be resisted at all costs. Funding of Islamist organisations by nations that have considerable influence financially and politically with the UK must be investigated and the findings published. The link between Islamists and members of major political parties must be exposed and ended. The sinister practice by some Islamist groups of demonizing commentators and Journalists who are critical of certain aspect of Islamic theology and practice must stop, this dangerous practice puts the accused under a potential death threat and undermines freedom of speech and expression.

3. Islamic supremacist groups

There are Islamic supremacist groups with followers in the UK that promote an extreme and intolerant brand of Islam they encourage the murder of apostates and Blasphemers, killing or imprisonment of homosexuals and contempt and hatred for the Kafir (unbeliever). These groups have been described as incubating chambers for Jihadis by anti-terror experts. These groups should be challenged at the ideological and theological level and watched by the security forces.

Some of the biggest victims of Islamic supremacists are Muslims and ex Muslims including women, minority sects, homosexuals and people who have converted to other religions or become “apostate” (abandoned Islam). We are currently trying to help individuals from the Muslim community that have found themselves falling victim to the Islamic supremacists.

We are against all forms of extremism but we are also committed to defending the British values of freedom of speech and freedom of religion as described in the UN declaration of human rights

Article 18. Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.

Article 19. Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

We believe that these freedoms are under threat because of extremism, this must not be allowed to happen, bad ideas should be challenged not legislated against.
